A connection …

Two of my quilts are part of the New Zealand collection at the World Quilt exhibition in the USA.

This is the feedback on one of the them, “Ripple”.

I saw your quilt today at The World Quilt Competition in Springfield , Massachusetts…..it was so beautiful and moving. Thank you. I wanted to let you know that all the people standing around it were very contemplative and were very moved.

Have a great day and again Thank You for showing the world your quilt. I show pictures of it to so many people…it is very powerful.

Sadly the terrorist event of 15 March 2019 in Christchurch, New Zealand, and the 51 deaths have caused the whole nation to grieve. New Zealand is a country of immigrants, and has over 140 languages, English and Maori being the recognised languages. Some of the victims were refugees, and they should have been safe in New Zealand, that is what hurts the most.
